Hopefully someone will be able to shed some light on this...

I've got a couple of issue with my car (Fiat Punto Grande), the Blue & Me microphone has become faulty for the second time (I brought this car brand new from a Fiat dealer in December 2009)

Now the second issue is, there seems to be a knocking sound coming from the front left side when I drive over bumpy ground.

Anyway I've phone Fiat who happily booked my car in for a warranty repair, until I received a phone call today explaining that because my car has been in for a service yet (due December 2010) they are unable to carry out the repair under warranty.

Could anyone explain whether this is correct or not?

Did you have the car serviced elsewhere ?

I believe under the terms of the warantee if you've not had it serviced on or before the specified intervals then they can reject your claim

You've let it go over 2 years without a service? Sounds like your lucky just to have these minor problems!
