Hi

just bought a 1.9 sporting multijet diesel grande punto
it is on a 57 plate and has done 34k with full service history

since the day i picked it up it has had problems with starting from cold
or when left for a few hours
it starts, it just takes a few goes to get it going
i have had the car back at the dealership (non fiat) a few times and they've changed

glow plugs
glow plug relay
battery
temp sensor

it still has the problem
it also seems to intermittantly go as if into limp mode and even with foot on floor, slugs along for ages until the turbo kicks in (usually around 2000 revs but can take up to 3.500 revs)

they garage says they are sending it back to fiat to be looked at, just wondered if anyone has had anything similar or any advice?
it only has a 3 month warranty and I really need to get it sorted before that expires or change the car!

many thanks :(

the lack of power could possibly be EGR. Easy way to find out take it off put a blanking plate on and drive it.

thanks chaps the car went to fiat today so hopefully they will sort it. the car has been ok on the power front since my 1st post but still pants starting. hopefully fiat will get it sorted tho :)
