Hi I have just noticed that there is a thumping sound when I turn the wheel in slow movement or stationary. It like sounds like it coming from front wheel any. Suggestions what problem could be

Hi the car is a 2008 and sounds like it from the front suspension it a nit a vibrating thump when you slightly turn the wheel

do a forum advanced search in the red info bar at the top of the page for strut top bearing been covered many times

Would this part be dear and is it due to pot wholes or just old age also could it be tracking that not helping problem

as you can see from the pics in the guide water and grit gets in making the bearings stick or seize the part is £20 ish each

just labour on top could always try getting a quote from an Independent garage also have a good look at the springs in case they are broken
