hello everyone, can anyone tell me what i can do to fix boot light problem? interior lightts are working as it should be but when i open boot the boot light wont come on, tryed replacing bulb still the same any ideas?

I think you will find you will need a new boot catch as the bright sparks at Fiat decided to put the sensor in the catch mechanism. Had exactly the same thing but managed to get it done under warranty as I had only just got the car. nOh and make sure your interior lights work after the work is done as they blew my interior lights fuse when they fitted the new catch!

i have the same problem. i found i have a live to the light but no earth. so as above about the catch, it must be earth via the catch. so a replacement catch is needed? or is there anything that can be done to fix the problem?

Not that i'm aware of mate, as the sensor is encased in the catch mech the only way to fix it is to replace.

Had the same problem, Dealer sorted out uder warranty.
