ive just been out to drop off my girlfriend!!, then on the way back home i sudenly heared a knocking from the front pasenger side wheel, and as i acelerated the noise became faster and louder, as i come off the acel the noise went.
so i took it easy all the way back but after a while the koncking was worse and then a grinding noise started and the steering became bumpy and pulling abit to the left.

im am totally baffled!, any one know what it may be???
anyideas would be great!

there all solid. first thing i checked

the only other thing you can do is jack the car up stand it and have a good tug at the wheel for any signs of play in the wheel bearing

on the side of the road i had a good tug on the drive shaft, and there was abit of play while tugin that, if it is the bearing, can bearing off anyother punto work? as i would head to the scrappys

Might be top strut mounts or wishbone bushes or drop links

ok guys, i eliminated the struts and bushes as the noise only comes when release the clutch, then to clutch is in the noise is gone, but as soon as i release the clutch the knocking starts. but i noticed that if i turn left then i hear a louder knock...

im just stuck as i cant drive the car to the garage as my nearest fiat is way across the motorway.

Dont be such a girl lol. Are you not part of a breakdown service like AA or RAC, im sure they'd tow you to to fiat garage.

I have a squeaky knock from my drivers side front wheel when turning, my dad has cheacked for play in the socket and joint, but none there, MOT friday so i will see what they say, a easy fix for my dad hopefully!!
My old punto squeaked as well.
