Has anyone had their GP vinyl wrapped? I am toying with the idea of a nice bright green and have read it is cheaper than a respray. I have a skydome roof so that will stay black but does anyone know how much I would roughly be looking at for a 5 door model? And can anyone recommend anyone in the Yorkshire area?

Thanks:cool:

Well yes it would be but it's Sunday, and it doesn't hurt to see if anyone on here has an opinion on it and to get some general ideas and recommendations.

Exactly its sunday, why do you need to know so urgently? Just find a few companies drop them an email and find out. I will be kind though, you are looking at £800-1000 for a wrap.

I wrap vehicles for a living and as matt mentioned between £800 - £1000 is about right depending on the colour. I've done my Abarth Gp in matt black, I think theres another guy on here from scotland with a camo wrap which I've seen and its crap job / design work.

Thanks guys, I've got to be honest that is more than I thought, I was expecting it to be around the 400-500 mark:eek:. I thought a pro respray was around £800:(

As has been said it depends what your after, with time and care, a big roll of vinyl and a heat gun you could do it yourself over a long weekend?

The company I used to work for would do an area the size of a Transit/Vito etc rear for £300, that was printed or a little less for plain.

Well I had a word with a local sprayer and he said he would spray my scuttle, wing mirrors and door handles for £100, so from that I assumed the whole car (excluding roof) would be about £700, so from that I would have hoped vinyling would have been a far cheaper option. I dont think I would have the patience to do it on my own, but I am just wanting a nice bright green GP. I think that would look great!:slayer:

It'll look different I'll give you that, and it'd be good to see. There is a darker green GP available but hopefully your looking for something a little brigher and cooler something Ford RS Green like?

Yes, that RS green is exactly the sort of thing I'm looking for, prices for resprays/vinyling seem to be so varied.
