water in the bottom of my fusebox caused all sorts of fun and games for over 8 months till the connections became corroded enough and everthing died, except the horn. The horn was very much alive and had a will of its own for 2 days.

The embarrassment...

Water gets in and goes through the unused holes, i don't blame them for not finding the fault.

I've got a fuse or a relay in every slot, does the water get in from the lid seal or from underneath?

Not sure the dealer I take mine to in Ipswich (not the group I bought the car from 'cause they closed down Desira Ipswich) said that seeing as I'd never had to touch it and the full wiring loom change mine had at desira Ips a month before they closed that it either wasnt fitted or closed properly when it had last been worked on, but they didn't show me the old fusebox so I won't rule out dodgy seals.

Got my Gendan OBD2 code reader today, the only code logged was P0111, this is IATsensor 1 CKT Range / Performance.

I've kept a note & cleared it as the car is still running perfectly again with no Warning lights.

What is this code telling me & what should I do? If anything at this time.

to go to a dealer!............oh the irony;)

 NFC T unless it bomes back..... :)

Intake Air Temp sensor out of range / performance.

I'll risk just changing the sensor myself if I can...

Be careful, it doesn't mean the sensor is at fault. You need to figure out what caused the sensor to take an "out of range" reading.

Can only be water Adam... I'll do nowt unless it shows up again. Over Wed / Thursday it returned its best economy figures over a trip I do regularly so I'm not concerned at all. 55MPG over a 154 mile trip up the A49 into Albert Dock Liverpool and back. I'm impressed anyhow... A & B roads, no Motorways... damn good motor IMO. (y)

my 1.9 mjet refuses to go above 40 and thats a mixture of 50miles a day on the motorway and about 5-15 a day city driving. however, it is back at the garage today having the brakes fixed, sticking caliper piston. suppose the ebd may be pinning the car back trying to keep the sensors reading the same wheel rpm therefore the engines working harder than it should :/
