It all started over the weekend, i noticed that everytime i had the wheels turned at slow speeds i was getting a knocking or graunching noise coming from the front end, my initial thoughts were maybe a bit of trim just catching but that doesnt seem the case so i'm guessing its something more serious, the cars booking in for Friday so hopefully they'll pinpoint the problem, but anyone else had anything similar or suggest a possible cause?

Fiat tried to charge me £200

I think this is a known issue with the GP.Mine was sorted by Fiat FOC just a week before the 3rd year warranty ran out . Started just like the OP describes and gradually got worse.

Well it got it back and problems identified was some gizmo behind the steering wheel that was apparently making "noise". Also in there investigations they found that the water pump was cracked (any ideas how that happens?) Incidentally neither problem was fixed due to a lack of parts so shes back off to the garage on the 11th to be fixed

Are they supposed to carry water pumps for all engines they make

I used Lipscombe in Aylesford.......that way i get to look at all the shiny Lotus's everytime i go down there lol

had a friend buy a Abarth 500 from them, sound like they're quite good too

Yeah i think they're pretty good to be honest......had a couple of issues in the past with the level of customer service given by the service department but generally they're good
