Dipped beam on both head lamps has suddenly decided it doesn't want to work, main beams work.

Surely both head lamp bulbs can't go at once can they? I'll be well gutted if they have.

One of my rear number plate lights are not working too, this has only just been replaced when the car was fixed.

Could it be a wiring problem ?

quickly check one of the dip beam bulbs (drivers side easiest)

Both bulbs blowing can happen though. Had this on some brake lights once. I know that they went on the same day. Checked them the day before which was odd, so I must have predicted it

Hmm yes me thinking the same

Too much of a coincidence that all three bulbs, two front dipped and a rear number plate light should not be working.

Couldn't have happened at a worse time either, it's been really foggy tonight

I'll be having a proper look in the morning.

Edit: I've got spare bulbs which i know are working, so if they don't work then it has to be wiring or something else.

Well low and behold all three bulbs had blown never before seen three bulbs blow at once.

So, bang goes my 80% brighter bulbs i've put the original front bulbs back in, and the rear number plate lamp was replaced with one of my spare side lamp bulbs.

Still a bit confused as to how three bulbs can blow at once :chin:

You're right T i did the passenger side first and found it a bit fiddly, then moved on to the drivers, no problems at all.

Almost forgot how easy it is to change the bulbs on the GP
