Had my Grande Sport for awhile now. Is there anyway of turning the seat belt warning alarm off. I carry things on the front seat quite alot and the alarm is set off, thinking that someone is sat in the seat.
It drives me mad. Even happens with the wifes handbag is on the passenger seat when shes driving.

Can anyone help please!!!!!!

Hey, this is in the wrong sectin but I have left a note for a moderator to move it.

In regards to your question you might find it difficult to disable, the alarm without someone who has done it before or knows which wire is which if the seat contains airbags as far as disabling the seats sensor itself; you might be able to disconnect it from the rest of the loom though.

That doesnt turn the seatbelt warning down last time i checked? It can be turned off Via Fiat but they wont do it as its a safety feature. Just clip the seatbelt in if you are going to be carrying stuff on the seat.

Or just fasten the seat-belt...

Or put stuff in the boot...

mate i went to the fiat dealer and they gave me a small plastic piece that fit the seat belt....so whenever u want u can use it....why dont you go and ask

you cant stop the warning on the dash, but you can turn the beep down or off.

As Matt said, last time I fiddled with the Menu on the car it wasn't possible to turn down/off the seatbelt warning. I thought that the 'buzzer volume' settings were for the likes of leaving the door open or when the handbrake is applied when in motion.

Your dealer can turn off the signal. He has to change it in the body computer,a simple setting.
