im looking for a turbo timer for my gps 130 but they all say for petrol cars would they still fit a diesel and before anyone says yes i am lazy and impatient
 
so i dont have to sit in my car to let turbo cool down ive been told after long runs to let it cool down well at the min and in the the next year or 2 im travelling 200ish miles a day so i dont want to brake the turbo and also i just want one anyway
 
How long should you leave the car to idle? I wait of 60 seconds after a long trip. Is this too little time?
 
all i asked were to get one and yes i want one and i leave mine running for 3 or 4 minutes when been on a long journey or a good drive
 
my mate lost his job for having one on his scooby, the tobys didnt believe he had locked the car and left it, sacked him for leaving his car running in the staff car park unattended.... he sued them and got all his back pay and compo and his job back hahahaahahahaha ;)
 
orite thought it was a bit long but didnt know lol and just want to know were to get one found a couple when searched on google but they dont say if they for diesels
 
Guys you must WANT one as you dont NEED one.

Look at the posts above, all you need do is drive for a minute or so before you stop the engine with the turbo off-boost. Jeez it should be easy if you live on an estate, harder if you have a house on a fast A road or live in the Services on a Motorway. Save your money for servicing IMO :)
 
Everbody also seems to be missing the fact that turbo timmers are also illegal in this contry.

It is against the RTA to leave your car running unattended
 
i rang my insurance and no difference but i will not be getting one now as plans have changed and i wont be doing the long journeys that i was going to do but to be fair if i wanted one its my car all i asked was were to get one and i think only 1 person provided a link to many people thinking they know everything me thinks :devil:

well its true you ask something and always get sarcastic answers at the end of the day if i want to paint my car pink with yellow spots and i ask for help on how to go about painting it then all i want is answers not sarcasm dont get me wrong i love banter but somepeople are boring
