Styling Vinyl with number plate?

If any of you have vinyled between grilles how is ur number plate held on? mine is just with sticky pads and i wondered if i vinyled behind it and put it back on with sticky pads it mite pull vinly off?

Mines screwed on through the vinyl. Haven't had any problems with it.

You got to remember that the bumper is on a curve, thats why most of the plates are screwed in. If you were going to stick it on, you would need super adhesive pads.

Mine is fitted with 5 strips of 1" wide 3" long velcro diagonally stuck to the bumper, I left custom gaps in the vinyl for the velcro strips and no-one on a gallopin horse can tell, and my number plate is still there!

I do the same with my trailer and lighting boards that way its a 30 second job to swap plates between my dads and mine...

then again it'll be bloody hard to pull off with 5 strips of the stuff..

I bolted mine on yesterday (with stainless steel)

I have some mega sticky pads that I've used. No problems whatso ever, and I've had it vinyled now for aaaaages!
