phoned a tuning company today about tuning my t-jet and they said that i would get 20-30 bhp increase for £350. had any one had there t-jet remaped yet.?

i think it was called all tech
i saw somebody today who runs the directed car audio warehouse in epsom surrey and he had got his vw golf done by them he spent 13,000 on it and spoke very highly of them i dont no if that is the correct name but he gave me the number and i gave them a ring. i will find out the actual name when i see his car tomoro as he has there name advertised all over his motor.

there is a company i used for my friends t jet punto impressive resuts, i asked about the boost limiters they can be ajusted also rev limiter speed limiter part fuel full fuel, that was a full custom map had the car all day it went like ****.
will forward details if someone want alternative.

Please put them up on here. Max power that can be got off standard turbo is about 150bhp and 180lb ft of torque. Thats what mine made yesterday with a GSR kit and remap.

What you are talking about is the basics of re-mapping.

It is impossible to get 20bhp+ on top of the T-Jet. The turbo can't deliver it.

The reason why the car does perform better is mainly due to improved torque at the lower end. Every company who has got a rr has proven this.

Does anyone know of any FF-approved days I can get a re-map done anywhere near Scotland?

Newcastle? Carlisle? Bl00dy Manchester even...?

Your squiffed really as their based in Watford so all the 'FF' rolling road days are around watford area. So you either go to watford or find a tuning company nearer scotland who has a rolling road don't use cowboy mobile tuners.

what do you ajust on the ecu? what is basics and advanced? it does make much more torque mid range most turbo work that way i hear when remapped, what equipment you use?

The same as everyone else. The 'art' is in the mapping itself as every tuner will set different values. This is why tuners with onsite rolling roads will always better as they can tweak do a RR run then tweak etc until they get it spot on. They also test emissions when finished using a from what I could see a standard emission tester.
