Sorry everyone to keep banging on about the front vinyl but im really unsure what to do because:

Im hooked on the fact tht the carbon fibre look, will look good but iv been told bad points about carbon fibre vinyl anywhere on your car (like on your bonnet) as it looks fake etc.

I would like it to happen but unsure now because of the bad rating its been recieving.

I have had a few good points though if you set aside that its not real etc and think of it as abit of styling, as i no tht everyone has the matt finish black vinyl and so im one to want something different :bang:

I have a grey car and so i feel the colours will match well.

Can you help me try to resolve this and tell me what you really think

You wouldnt have to do that, you could paint the grilles a different colour such as a dark grey and then vinyl the same colour?

Its your car do what you want to it. If you are comfortable driving with carbon fibre style vinyl on the front and you think it looks good then go for it

Yh because of all the talk i was unsure myself and so iv gone for the black i dont want to be a follower but the black does look the best.

I was going for a deep grey but they could only do it in gloss due to stock n i didnt want tht lol

where did you get the vinyl mate?
i need to find somewhere i can get some big enough to do my roof.

Just go to a signwriters and get them to measure your roof and they will cut some vinyl to size.

i went to my local.. whos also my dads mate.
he said the size they keep in stock, isn't wide enough to cover the roof.
and he would have to order it in, hence making it more expensive.. i might try again this weekend. want it done before trax

I had mine done at auto parts and graphics in lye on its cost me 10 quid for my vinyl bargain tbf lol

Erm the standard sizes for the vinyl wont possibly cover your roof. Id say if u want it done they would have to order it in as they dont carry that sort of size for stocking reasons etc. If you want to keep it cheap as you can, find rough measurments of your roof then tell the fitter as this will make them buy a specific size to cover this measured area and save them alot of time by having to research it themselves etc.

What colour you thinking of doing it mate?

Sounds like a bargin, i blacked out my grille once but took it off cos i wanted summat a bit more unique lolz

im doing the roof black. got a deep black sunstrip, and black wheels, so it should look good.
i just dont want it to cost a fortune. id pay up to £50 i think, coz i could have it sprayed for about £50. but i'd prefer vinyl as i could remove it

Thats real good price 50 quid for a spray tbf.

But your right you would be able to remove it if it was vinyl. Go and get a quote.

it cost about 140 for the full thing doing, he made them as well so. think the vinyl might of been about 10-15 pounds, just need to find somewere that do cheap window tints now!
