Was in a few local garages & picked this up at Ayr Fiat (I scribbled info down quickly so advise double checking)

first service £99 (diesel £119)
second service £149 (diesel £199)
third service £99 (diesel £99)

As far as i'm aware its not a special offer

So expensive....

if you look at the fiat website, they also have fixed price servicing at most of their dealers:)

Would like to double check this as suggested. My gp 1st service at Ayr Fiat at the end of May for £150. Would snap the £99 up.

When the dealer gives you a quote you need to be certain that it includes all parts, all labour and VAT. Quite often you will see "SERVICE £99" then underneath in small print and brackets it might say........"Plus parts, consumables and VAT" .......Thats how I got caught out.

Went in today & double checked, its definately £99 inc VAT & parts but not includng pollen filter.

Which is why you get a small local garage to do it to the Fiat service schedual, use Fiat parts, and stamp your book, and hey presto, Fiat have to oblige to their warrenty(y)

Must be VAT registered

obviously desperate for business? 2nd service on GP includs an expensive fuel filter and spark plugs. variation in different labour for area also taken into account. northeners can get it for around £40/ hour.

people can shop around for service prices and pretty much beat it everytime. but u know the work is covered by fiat if a dealer goes. unlike local garages. any fiat personnel like myself can get prices from home pc at fiatmp.org if they have the sites password :)

Hi T,
So is this Uncle Arnold in Ayr we are talking about? If so, it must surely be throughout his Fiat dealership group, or is he trying to compete with (or put out of business) a local Fiat dealership?
