Ive already said its something i will have to put up with.

I phoned direct line, alloys are fine so thats good :) i also asked about the indunction kit, they said it was ok but it would rocket my insurance so its not worth it, i dont mind it being a bit sluggish, im not getting it for the speed, im getting it for the looks, quality and comfort :)

What the hell, I don't get it. Direct Line's policy is no mods unless you are 25 and has been mentioned on here loads of times before. Something doesn't add up somewhere along the line.

why dont you phone them and ask them yourself?

hehe i supose you could, i duno give them a call.
Maybe alloys dont count? because that would mean the car im getting already has alloys, so i would have to rip them off and put plastic ones on? lol

Im 23 why?

Well alloys are possible considering they are already on there, but the Induction Kit is a no-no with most insurance companies, let alone strict cheap Direct Line

end of the day, I live in a poor council estate surrounded by the people I went to school with all dealing drugs.

The feeling of success at being able to drive my GP around knowing that their body kitted escorts and racing sunstripped corsa's are a pile of ****.

The only mod my GP has is debadged tailgate (punto letters not fiat badge).

Other than that, completely standard. I appreciate design, and I'm no designer.

just out of interest, are they funny about interia mods?

Fenton you just gave me an awsome idea that i think would look pretty cool.

you know the seat leon, it has "l e o n" instead of a badge on the back.
Wouldnt it look nice if you removed the badge and replaced it with the letters "p u n t o" :D

but i think the badge would leave a mark if not holes :\ i duno im not that brave to test it lol

4DY i really cannot see how they told you that Alloys r fine because i rang them up the other week to let them know that i have Arays on my car and she said its not allowed and my insurance isnt valid unless i was 25! Ive been driving since i was 18 im now 22.

I notice theres alloys on it in your picture... :chin:

I dont know maybe they changed somthing, try again?

Maybe its because i didnt tell them im fitting them i just said it will have alloy wheels is that ok?
and she said yeah it should be fine.

probably the way i said it helped, istead of saying "i want to put some alloys on it" i said "it will have alloy wheels" which is ture, it will.

OH then thats because the way you worded it... lol if they find out that you have aftermarket alloys they will tell you to replace with standard wheels or find a diff company, Which im going to do next month because im going to lower mine and get a induction kit soon as some spare ££ comes about

Yeah i plan to do the same.
As soon as ive been driving a while, building my no claims and lowing my insurance i will change companys so i can add mods and play with it.

LMAO! nah, but I would love to see you try it ;)

The 'punto' badge on the back of the GP are all individual letters, just grab hair dryer and heat it for a few mins, letters peel off.

I took em off as it didnt look symetrical with the badge on, looks good now imho
