hey guys,

just thought i might get my fog lights fitted for my car since its in the body shop ( getting debaged and getting dents sorted out and soooo on).. well i know the guy in body shop who can some how fit me fog lamps so i ordered it from imperial car parts and just sent me the fog lamps itself with nooooo bulb or wiring or bracket or etc...

i was wondering what part i would require e.g what bulb? and where can i get it from, apart from the (d)stealer ????????????????????????????

Yeah I think so too as they are only £20 odd quid there, whereas on shop4parts.co.uk they are almost £45.

you don't need a bracket

this is a GP fog light unit:

you will need some fixing bolts ( i used stainless steel) metric M6 thread IMMSMC

as for wiring

Yeah but does it take H4 bulbs? If we know that then it makes it a lot easier which ones to get.

do theese require bracket..

ahhh man. does that mean i could of got the black fog lamps for my GP not sport tho..

no you dont need a bracket (btw they are upside down in that photo)

its a H1 bulb NOT H7

the lamp units are the same shape and size sport/non sport

you can't get the wiring you have to make your own loom up (seriously though if you have no idea about car electrics get a auto electrician to do it high Ampage wiring and no knowledge runs the real risk of FIRE which is the last thing you want if your not 100% confident you can do it right seek professional advice

the list for what you need is on the bottom of the diagram i posted above

as for the bolts I used 2x m6x20mm socket caps 2x20mm repair washers (cut to fit) 1 m6x20 hex headed counter sunk per light

apology's for the cr@p pics my digital camera has grown legs.

this shows why i cut the washers..
