Hi all.

I'm having a problem with starting lately. When the weather is very cold at night the car will turn over for ages before it fires. There is a very strong smell of petrol as well. When it does start the temperature gauge goes right up into the red then drops to normal in the space of about 5 seconds also the warning light on the gauge stays on longer than the rest of the lights. Rest of the day it starts fine. Dealer has looked at it twice but not fixed it. ANY IDEAS. Cheers

The wife always manages to flood hers when it's cold trying to fire her up, Fiat Dealer has found no faults and seemingly put it down to USER ERROR. There is only so many days I am willing to take of work to spend at my local dealer who is not that local in the first place.:bang:

ask garage to check temperature parameters & update ECU if notalready done so.
