Hi all

I've got a Pioneer P75BT headunit which i had in my mk4 Golf. I have tried installing it into my GP Sporting and am having very little luck!!

After battling with the ISO block to remove it from the standard head unit I plugged it into the wirring loom for the pioneer unit. Alas, no power at all seems to be going to the new unit.

I have done these before with no issues and everything is connected as it should be.

Is there anything i am missing?!?! please help!!!

Are the red and yellow wires from the headunit connected to the red/yellow SINGLE wire from the car ?

The GP has only one wire with + , and that is coloured red/yellow. You have to connect both red and yellow wires from the HU to that wire.

you need the +12v to go to the ign feed on the HU. not the constant 12v. if that makes sense..
