I've completely had it with blue and me! :bang:Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh:bang:

Just when I thought at least some of the features were working on the most soul destroying in-car media product known to man it all go's pear. I have the phone paired up just about (but of course theres no way of downloading the phonebook!?) and the memory stick wma file arrangement (after tryng 30 different ways to piggin do it!?) managed to understand 'Albums' voice command and I was then able to select specific tracks through the button menu.

Great I thought....at least some features work. But when I went to select some music in my car this morning 'hey presto!!!' it says 'no media found' and it's back to playing random tracks of my whole collection. So there 'is media there' but it's just suddenly decided to 'not' help me search through them.....greattt!!

Anyway I'm very sorry for the rant but I was hoping someone could recommend an 'MP3 player' that definitely works with blue and me as it will be my absolute last attempt to make this system work as an alternative to the USB stick.

Any help would be greatly appreciated......

What memory stick do you use? My 2 GB San Disk Cruzer Micro works just fine(y)

I use a 4 GB San Disk Cruzer Micro BigAl54.......So no different to yours really. Thing is I'm at the 'very' end of my tether with this system and would just like to try one last attempt with an attached media player.

Shouldn't let this get to me so much but I work with High end 3D software packages most days of my life which are far more complex to work out than piggin Blue & Me!! difference is they work! Fiat and Microsofts collaboration doesn't!!!!!
 
using aigo 2gb mp3 player + nokia phone no probs from any since i picked the car up 6mths ago,all features working with both not tried mem stick yet also i only use mp3 files.:)

Thanks gp phil......that looks like a good player. I'll look into it.:)
 
I get the same issues using a 2gb san disk cruzer. Some days it just plays what i was playing before but it wont let you search. I found that this happenes after adding new media to the drive. i found that to fix this, every time you want to put new stuff on there you need to do a complete clean format of the drive.

This still does not stop the odd error that on cold mornings i get "source unavailable" when trying to swicth to media player and the only way to get it to play is to search for the track again.

Sorry to hear that you're having the same problems...I bet you're not as close to self detonating as I am though!!!. Ohhh dear, maybe I shouldn't of said that......MI5 might be listening in:)

When you say 'complete clean format' do mean the memory stick and your PC or is it something you do via the car system?

Stick it in your pc and right click it under my computer and click format :)
 
Totally with you on the depressing Blue and me's!!
I've just had the "no media found" message, even though its sodding playing tunes randomly off the memory stick!! Had to then plug my ipod nano in and that started working ok..but god am i getting pi**ed of with the system!!:bang:

Does any one else have play list problems also? When i make a playlist on windows media player from my library on my pc, then copy it to my 4gb mem stick, i just get loads of single folders with the songs in them, which Blue and me will only play separately?? (this maybe my fault? am i doing it wrong??)

And while im going off on one...my nokia N73 seems to dislike being used with blue and me too.
I have paired the phone, but nearly every time i want to make calls, it dials the number, then goes quiet, "phone on" comes up on the display and the call is connected but i cant hear any thing and then the call gets cuts off????(n)
It does work sometimes though...sometimes... but more often than not ... it doesn't... WHYYYY!!!!!:bang::bang:
