i don't think anyone on here has used coilovers yet... if you can afford it then imo you should go for the coils as you can adjust them as much as you like and providing you get the right set you will be able to control the damping on them too which will enable you to keep more ride comfort. :)
 
If I had coilies I'd probably go as low as possible. Ride quality has never been an issue with me. If you want the look and handling it's a small price. I don't know if i'd bother with the damping rates on coilies as they are usually set well by the manufacturers anyway.

Don't tell me there isn't one person who who has lowered thier GP?

It's probably the first non engine mod to do, it sets off any other features of your car.

theres quite a few that have lowered, ive seen two in the flesh ;)

there is one or two that have lowered theirs, but no one as far as i know has used coilovers.
 
i'v just had myn GP lowered (30 mm drop on springs) myns only the standard. i only seen 1 set ov coilovers 2 nd they were about 700 - 800 quid, but i wish i'd got them now cas its just not low enuff 4 my likin. i'll try post a pic when i take 1
