Right, well unhappy! :(
Wifeys 03 Stilo Active Aircon has the remote window operation on the lock and un-lock keyfob facility but my 56 GPS 1.9 does not...

Is there a way to make that functional, either by some trickery in the car or can / could a FIAT dealer make it work... (y)

Or am I flogging a dead horse and the GP just cant do it?

Im sure this has come up before and the answer is no. I was told something about pressing the lock button twice quickly would close all the windows and this doesnt happen, maybe only 5 door models?

GPS 1.9 Remote window function

Soz I posted earlier but am still unsure whether I am missing out on the remote control window winding pose from the remote!

Any 3 door 1.9 GPS owners got the remote window winder function?

The one where you can open or close the windows remotely with the lock and unlock buttons on the keyfob?

If not I will shut me face! (y)

If yes, what needs to be done to make the bu**er work?

Pressing the lock button twice applies the deadlocks, don't know about the windows

2 presses of the lock on the remote keyfob deadlocks Wifey Stilo but does nothing on my GP. I can hear the deadlocks go in on the Stilo but just a muffled noise on my 1.9 so I am guessing no deadlocks either?

i have deadlocks on mine :nerner:

press once to engage first locks, 2 flashes

let go

hold button to engage deadlocks, 1 long flash

you have to do it quite quick though :)

Well blow me down yoo hoo I got deadlocks too!! Ta for that buddy! Now I can leave all my expensive stuff in the boot lmao!

Cant hear that from the office window but I will check out the clunk lata lmao! Now.... the bloody window winders, come on you FIAT buffs!! I wana pose when it gets hot!!

Tried all permutations of button holds and presses but no windy windows! :(
Cant believe FIAT would rob the 1.9 GP of that function the tightwads!

Ffs if the wifeys lowly 1.2 Active Stilo got it why not the GP?

Thread is v quiet so maybe its a good question or maybe fellow Forum members are bored and lost the will to live lol! :D

Still a Dogs Bo**ox of a motor tho! :D :D :D :D :D (y)

most of the time its just a box that is connected tot he alarm/central locking system why not get an aftermarket one? (Or be really eveil and nick the one from the stilo  )

i no this might sound daft but whats the dead lock do any different the standard lock dont ??

i didn't think the gp came with deadlocks, that was one of things the reviews said was bad about it. how comes you've got them??? i wonder if i do ill have to check lol

No GP has yet to be known to have the window open / close with keyfob function.

The Grande Punto does. Mine does.
