Thanks:)
you haven't even got the car and want to modify it?the car you mention is a fine example of a gp but imo its bordering on blasphemy to to put after market wheels on a gps the all give the look of "BOY RACER" AND CHEAPEN IT THE BLUE GP INCLUDED THE STANDARD 17"WHEELS ARE FAR SUPERIOR LOOKING.WHY NOT WAIT SURE FIAT WILL BE INTRODUCING NEW STYLED WHEELS TO THE RANGE EARLY NEXT WHEN ITS DUE FOR A LITTLE FACELIFT

personal preference, i do not think that any of the gp's o far look 'oy racer' at all, changing alloys is just being different to the norm, otherwise its just another standard GP.

do it broach individuality is good!

Hi 08 Broach not that keen on the gold wheels think something like a gold ultraleggera would look more classy.but again its all down to personal taste (y)

or you could go a bit differant:-

I dont see nothing wrong putting larger wheels on actives, sports or dynamics their wheels are too small and not very nice.but not on a sporting, have seen the sporting wheels at night on the move they are just different class:slayer: :slayer: its just a pity they dont come in a larger size

What's wrong with planning ahead? Its a bit like saying "You're not even at uni yet and you're already thinking about what course you want to do?"

personal preference

there is nothing to individualise our own cars.but i think its got to be done tastefully thats all sticking mediocre wheels and low standard tyres on it aint the place to start.there window tints, bodykits that enhance the gp but middle of the road quality alloys nope.not seen any yet that nice wheels mate to me.imo.

so you would bodykit a car without changing the wheels first

and not to be rude. but tbh, you contradict yourself alot.

and middle of the road quality alloys/mediocre wheels?!?! im sure us 17, 18, 19 yr olds dont have a few grand to spend on wheels. we have budgets. we only do "major" changes when we have cash. hence why the only mod on my car is the wheels. i feel they enhance the look and style of my car.

and

i thankyou. :)

You said it yourself - "i think its got to be done tastefully" - its not a one-size-fits-all. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean others won't like it as well, vice versa.

your opinions on whether you want to stick some new alloys on might completely change once you get the car. i agree, its best done tastefully, but really its your car and only really you that needs to like how it looks. its your choice, and id rather have something a little different to everyone else. i like seeing cars with bodykits and stuff on just for some variety, but i do think they look a lil tacky and wouldnt stick a full kit on mine.

hi jonny sorry to see what happend to your car hope you get it back soon mate.
and yes i did mean the before snots.still one of the nicest cars on FF (y)
ps you will need to get some propper tyres for your car as( sticking mediocre wheels and low standard tyres on it )jassyo has pointed out

i quite like the wheels on your car.thats not my point.it is why change the wheels on a sporting they are extremely nice wheels.why put inferior wheels on just because their an inch bigger?????also there aint a lot of sportings about rare on the road in fact up in glasgow any how.its not like a corsa or saxo you need to individulise its still a very fresh looking car just over a year old infact
