If this had been available in Jan 2007 I would have SERIOUSLY considered it.

I was previously considering the Skoda Fabia Estate and this GP Estate would have been a realistic alternative.

However, my GP still looks very stylish and has more room than I'll ever need (including humping 3 x 100 litre bags of bark home from the Garden Centre 3 week in a row).

That estate does look good though...

y do u hump bags of bark?

I cant see it being sold over here, there is no demand in the UK for small estate cars. Everyone here wants hatchbacks or large estates and saloons. It does look pretty but I doubt that GP estate will have the space of a Focus or Astra hatch let alone an estate. Small estates are popular on the continent though. A few years ago while on holiday in Portugal we hired a Corsa estate. I had never seen one before. My thoughts are that if it was a worthwhile exercise GM would have been punting them over here a long time ago if they thought they could make a few quid. VW did an estate version of the polo and you can still get a 207 station wagon but how many of them do you see? One of the main problems is the fact we drive right hookers and almost everyone else has left hookers. In terms of production volumes LH drive GPs must outnumber RH drive ones by 100 to 1 and unless they can justify the unit costs involved with making RH drive versions and make a reasonable profit selling them they wont do it.

If I lived in Wales it might be sheep but even I know I couldn't get 3 of them in the back of a GP.
