Ok, ive had problems with 4th gear disspaearing.... ive now got a bigger problem..
i flushed the box out and once it had 4 liters of diesel flushed through it it was nice and clean... i then removed the end cap to find loads of these...
and where they came from
now what was happeneing was the offcuts were blocking the selector arm from moving back in to grab 4th gear... hense why it was the only one not working and occasionaly did (they moved loose)... however. now ive cleaned them completely it all was working fine ..... TILLLLL
ive put the end back on the box ect and now the stick is in the neutral position but the box is in reverse and it wont let me move the stick at all.....
throughout ive not took the selectors off the top at all and the only thing ive moved inside the box is the gold selector arm in the pic on the bottom.... which iirc moves from 4th to 5th only... now i dont understand so any help would be great!!!
PS. yes i know the box is scrap but i need it for a job tomorrow! so if it can just get back to how it was after the swarfe removed ill replace it in a few weeks
