hi all
just joined the forum and would like to know some outline info on the fiorino van as i have just been given a used and abused example it needs a bit of bodywork and a new doorhandle but runs really well does it share any parts with other fiat models ie door handles ,engine parts ,engines,etc as it is not something i have been able to locate in the local scrap yards where would a good source of used and new parts be

This one is quite old, E reg ,looks more like the old fiat 127? than the uno? I have been given it so can afford to spend a few quid on it but would like to find out what it is based on so i can keep my eye out in the scrap yard and on ebay for parts, needs exhaust ,backlights, door handle and lock mechanism just for starters.

think it must be 1050 as it has 1050 badges on the sides but not to sure yet not able to have a real good poke about and not seen log book either ,will get the tyres all pumped up and change one wheel tommorow then hopefully can drive it out of its overgrown resting place and have a better look to see if it is worth spending time and money on.

Congratulations, you have a very rare fiorino . The 127 based vans must be the rarest of any type of van in the uk (you might have the only one). Sorry i cant help you much, as i own a uno based van, but if you need any help, just let me know

How exciting that my little van is very rare!! The only problem will be getting parts for it rang round a few exhaust companys today and can get backbox and middle section of exhaust but not front section which i am sure needs replacing as well.
Also on further inspection back floor needs welding ,one side has been done in the past so is ok , rest of the van appears pretty solid.
Runs really well although not to sure about the clutch.
Could be that it is going to be more trouble than it is worth but it is quite an appealing little van..and pretty spacious inside.

forgot to say, if you can find a fiat 127 hatchback car that fitted with the 1049cc engine, the front pipe will fit your van
