Posts: 2,161 Thanks: 114 Trader Rating: 0 ![]() | My new maff Well my new maff upgrade arrived but there is no direction of flow on the case I'm assuming the I should fit it with the connector plug facing the way the oem one is but is that correct? Would a picture of it posted up help? luigi

Posts: 45 Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: 0 ![]() | Re: My new maff Little trick to get higher boost pressure, you can shorten the actuator arm by a half turn or one turn or more. apparently one turn is about 1psi. I was thinking about doing a half turn for just a touch more boost, but turbo is in a very cramped position to adjust it. I also want to clean egr but in really awkward position and I think you have to remove cooling pipes and stuff to remove it.

I got the little retaining C clip off of my actuator arm, but had trouble loosening the retaining nut on the arm as a bit awkward to get any tools in there as it's right up against the front of the engine bay in mine.

Posts: 45 Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: 0 ![]() | Re: My new maff Yeah 75 has a fixed and the 95 has a variable geometry. It's the only hardware difference I've found. I wonder how easy it would be to stick a (larger?) variable on a 75 and have someone custom map it. And whether it would be worth it :P
