[A] i have a 2012 fiorino with 1.3 diesel multijet that i bought in my wife's country and i dont speak the language very well.

yes its under warranty. no its not broken. but like to know and understand cars that i buy even if they are -maintenance free- which this one apparently is.

i come from the VW diesel family; i had a jetta with 2.0 diesel. i belonged to a VW forum there and there was a plethora of technical links to a technician's delight. you could obtain as much information as you could handle.

i am seeking:

1) a pdf diagram of the 1.3 MJ ignition circuit (telling what sensor(s) inputs go into the computer)

2) a diagram showing WHICH sensor is located WHERE, under the hood and from beneath

therefore, what im after is info to know that when i see a connector under the hood, i know where it coming from and what it terminates at.

can anyone help here? im not after opinions like "it a 2012 why worry?" or "its under warranty" i seek links.

second part question: since im still in break-in period, any ideas about changing oil + filt after only 2000mi or so to "take out the metal" early? then revert to normal intervals?

thx all. would love to get a hold of these diagrams. they would obviously come from a service manual, of course, and that would be the grand prize but it's only these diagrams im after. but if there's the manual out there, well....

thanks again!

Hi nedro018,
Good luck with that, tech' info is difficult to get for the Qubo, hopefully some one on the 'forum' may be able to help.

Cheers Qube O.

qube O,

any reason for this?

i understand there may not be too much 2012-ish tech info out there, but out of all the 1.3 MJ's that have sold, there's "nothing" out there?

is this forum managed by fiat and therefore the info is proprietary? i think that would explain it.

the VW site people shared all kinds of stuff esp with the older models.

thanks for the heads up.

"if this forum managed by fiat and therefore the info is proprietary? i think that would explain it".....

thanks for confirming this statement.

the "info that is out there" on the 1.3 fiat diesel engine is not on same level as national or corporate secrets.

sigh. the info is OUT THERE and i will find it in 3 days. the Internet is really, really, big.

ive owned 5 cars in 3 countries and never run into such a roadblock...for a simple FI crkt of a car still under warranty! amazing.

The 'Forum' is indeed 'stand alone', in no way managed by Fiat, though I do know that 'they' do follow it............as for the info..........'best of luck'. Many people have tried, and as far as I know thats as far as they have got.....but perhaps you may strike 'gold', if you do Please let us poor souls know what you've found.............

Cheers Qube O.(y)(y)

"...If ever we get tech info we do share it, but its not out there to get......plain and simple...OK then, find a workshop Manual -LUIGI"

beg to differ. looks like it must, in fact, be out there my friend.

i paid $6 for it and am willing to share it here. it's a 600+mb .iso file made to be burned to a cdrom. its for the punto only, however, it has pulldowns for several different engines and one is the 1.3 diesel MJ, which is the only one i care about.

it has what i was after: fuel injection diagrams and sensor locations in the engine bay. lots of other stuff. also, there's 3-4 languages supported.

im not going to upload such a large file without permissions first.

who cares if its a punto?

i dont care about maintaining the "car", i care about the 1.3 MJ engine and about understanding it.

read the original post: it inquired about the 1.3 diesel MJ fuel injection diagrams and the like. not about taking off a fiorino door panel.

now that we are clear on this...are there further links on this site with info diagrams/anything pertaining to the 1.3 MJ? -the engine?-

the car frame doesnt matter to me.

thx.

In a word.........NO.
Why don't you try the punto section? This is for FIORINO related issues only.
PS, Some of us want to know ''HOW TO REMOVE A DOOR PANEL'', the centre dash heater panel was on topic the other day for example.
the way you word things says your not happy about this site as it does not give you the answers your looking for.
This site is run and supported by fiat owners and has no input from fiat uk.

loud and clear. you are the boss!

ill just keep this cdrom info in my tray then. nobody else seems to want it. no one else responded except for you.

still love this site thanks for all!

Hi nedro018,

Well done, I think, for finding whatever info you have. Any information is always of use, be it of the mechanical or structure type.

The 1.3 mjd is fitted to a number of motors, not just Fiat, so I expect general info for it is available, but perhaps not specific to its fitment in the Qubo/Fiorino.

Our interests on the Qubo Forum are many and varied, so please feel free to post up whatever you find which may help other owners.

Cheers Qube O.

absolutely qubo,

i will commence uploading the file and you, as the moderator, can put links to it as you see fit.

not sure what all the huppala is over not finding -an exact- manual for a "qubo" or a "fiorino".

it engines and other mechanical systems like brakes that we have to maintain, not the car chassis itself. this cdrom has all that repair info plus wiring diagrams. for alot of engines. and in several languages.

ill post it soon.

qubo,

this is a really big file...over 600 megs .iso file

where is the method to upload on this site? didnt see anything (links) under user control panel. i surely cant "attach" it to this post.

ive run websites myself and normally such large files are uploaded directly to the moderators and they post where they want to.

pls advise.

Hi nedro018,

Like you I'm only a humble member of the Forum........and as far as I know its not possible to put your 'file' up on it..........what we really need is a 'Moderator' to come back and post as to if you can, and if you can, how to do it.

Personally I battled just to get a picture of my car on the Forum........

Lets wait and see if anyone else has any bright ideas on this........

Take care.....Cheers Qube O.

"Lets wait and see if anyone else has any bright ideas on this........"

looks like -NOT- QUBO.

so, if this site isnt managed by Fiat, or by Fiat dealers, then some one please advise:

how i can get upload permissions/or show where the link is to get this .iso file uploaded?

it has (in cdrom interactive format) all needed to repair T/S 4 engine platforms including the 1.3 MJ and is in 5 languages.

cant seem to find upload option under user control panel...pls advise if you can or if you want. i already have this resource and am using/printing out.

if you want it lemme know.

Hi nedro018,

Yes its a shame.....I was hoping that a 'MODERATOR' would comment on this, and offer advice as to if its possible.......for whats its worth you have my regrets that no help has been offered.

Take care, Qube O.
