tried the heater this morning once again no hot air.The right hand side pipe at the back of the engine was cold so i have gone through the bleeding process again to remove any trapped air but there is no hot air coming through.Is it time to change the thermostat? or is there anything else i could try ?

no hot air,thats down to the thermostat?? had this problem in a van,only had cold air.Get a new thermo,there cheap enough

As mike says, a new thermostat is cheap enough and an easy fit
