was about 11 in morning when everyone was at school,as you can see the road is quiet.Im not that stupid to nail a car down a public quiet road when busy.

You know as well as most i drive with a 2 ton concrete right foot.... but i was just stating the obvious, things like that have been used against drivers to convict i was merely Emphasizing a word of caution thats all...

There is a disused test track at Leyland Motors i was thinking of going over that way to scout it for security and the condition of the surface(not been used by LM for years)

Anyhow,where did you find that? didnt know there was any race/test tracks around here.
If its in good resonable nick and security is poor then yer why not id be up for it

Its been there for 30+ years... Leyland Daf Motors used to mass produce the LDV Van there and other vehicles they'd test them there... looks great if you ask me.... so wanna go on the skid pan (large circle in the middle)... I reakon we could do an Indy 500 challenge on the Oval lol

I guess we could always bribe the security guard with some doughnuts for a couple of hours on a sunday morning... i dont think the test track is used any more but cant be sure im going to go over and have a look this sunday morning see if i can blag my way in (take a camera and say im doing a report on the rise and fall of LDV) they might buy it.

Done some further investigation and there does appear to be a security presence... the enterance to the site is covered by some 6ft high 20ft long gates and the security office sits right next to it... thats not to say we cant gain access, the next problem would be accessing the track... is been fenced off but lookin at it from google earth it aint much of a fence... im going to go down this weekend if i can and try to gain access on foot maybe inspect the track... also done some research into who owns is and LDV operate out of Birmingham (Head Office) may approach them with a venture....
