re
a guy here very confident the dedra rear axle bolts straight on.
the problem is lack of dedra integrale's in this country, the only ones here still get a good price because of the rarity!

the only thing i can find from my conversation with the hungarian is me quoting the fact that it had a 20vt not a 16 or 8

Well, actually the dedra has 165hp engine not 185 (that engine has stronger head gaskets, and maybe pistons).
This is the reason I'm not thinking anymore about putting this engine to a brava. I'll just put a turbo on it, with that modest boost, try to kéép all costs down. And collecting money for an Audi A4 1.8T quattro (it's going to take 1,5-2 years as it looks now). That engine can be tuned up to 300 bhp with no internal mods! And still, there is max. torque from 1950rpm!!
Audi also has the best 4*4 in the world the quattro. So I'll just go for that...
4*4 surely kicks when cornering!

It says il motore e quello della fiat cupe 2000 turbo 5 cilindri 20v ???? or do you mean if I swapped?
The place in the uk that chipped mine, with an uprated fuel pump do 8v integrale from 185bhp to 230! And they seemed confident they could do similar with dedra engine, with the uprated fuel pump I have and the fuel pressure put up?
But that's why I would like to buy a whole dedra first, as will be able to drive and see how quick it is, and if not what I want I could just sell it in uk as collectors car, as I say, I have only ever seen 2 for sale in uk now, and both were 3000 pounds or more!
It may not be as quick in a straight line, but 4x4 would be lots of fun round the corners I'd hope!
