The wiper motor will be under the black plastic ventilated leaf screen bit at the base of the windscreen, once you've openbed the bonnet. There's about 5 screws hold it in place plus perhaps the rubber seal at the back of the engine bay if it's the same as the Tempra.
From memory it's in 3 sections, if so you may be able to just remove the one over the wiper motor on the drivers side. Once you can see the motor access is easy, but you do have to get the wiper motor off to do the job (no big deal, everything is to hand) It may be worth getting one of those wiper arm removers from a motor factors (about £2) they are worth their weight in gold 'cos getting the wiper arms off may be the hardest part of the job! ( AND You'll need one when your rear wiper packs up, or it's washer tube falls off).
The wiper motors are pretty robust & the design is quite neat, but they put too much grease on the gears, which then gets onto the contacts & stops the parking from working. Just ensure there's enough grease on the gear teeth & remove the rest. Paradoxically, the problem with the rear wiper is exactly the opposite! water leaks down the shaft 'cos there isn't enough grease & over time will seize the shaft. I use silicon waterproof grease on the rear wiper shaft, plus a rubber boot (valve stem oil seal!) as belt & braces job.
