Do you use Adrian Flux?

I always used them when I had motor bikes and I use them for my kit car insurance, and for the first time ever, I actually had to make a claim today:(

I spun my kit car off the road, did a 180% spin, ended up facing the other way and went backwards into a dich!!!

When I finally got home and phone adrian flux, I realised they are just a broker, so they put me through to NIG part of the churchill group who were acgtually insuring me, after telling my long tale of sorrow, it turns out that adrian flux had NOT updated my details, and instead of a caterham replica, they still had been down as owning an eagle jeep, so although I had up to date details, my insurance company, NIG did not:(

Hopefully it will all be sorted tommorow, but just something to bear in mind.

How much damage did you do to the ditch? :)

Did you not get any paperwork confirming the insurance?

I got confirmation confirming I had sold the eagle jeep that was also insured through adrian flux and then through NIG.. I then bought the new kit car, and recieved up to date paperwork showing new reg and all new details, unfortunately, adrian flux did NOT tell NIG that I had a new car, soo all MY paperwork was correct, but the paperwork between the two comapnies was not:(

Couldnt get out of the ditch, was stuck in it, until a farmer came along with his tractor,lol

Took me bloody ages to calm down enough to roll a cigarette after that!!!

Good good, if you've got paperwork then you should be fine. Its their screwup.

Glad you didn't do any lasting damage to the ditch. :)

I will get one of those, when you become my bank manager:)

I called Adrian Flux today funnily enough regarding my Insurance - Renewal time.

Any ideas how much I fear to pay with 3 years NCB, 0 Claims, 20 years old on a 1.2 Bravo.

Oh, I forgot to add that I have the following too:

SP30 = 3 points
SP60 = 3 points
IN10 = 6 points

Any idea how much they want for a full year Fully Comp on my own insurance?

i dont think adrian flux insure males under 21

if you have 2 speeding convictions for 3 points each and a 6 point conviction for driving without insurance, and you are only 20, surely you've lost your license under the totting up of points to 12 in a 3year period?
unless you got your first within a couple of months of being 17, and you are now almost 21 ?

I renewed my insurance with these guys yesterday...

They gave me a renewal quote of £800 third party with 2 yrs NCB and no crashes or convictions ever.

The mods listed at the time were;
Strut brace,
Ind kit,
Full 2.25 inch mongoose exhaust from the turbo,
Full SFS silicon hosing,
and a couple other things...

I had noticed that they DIDN'T have my alloy wheels nor the fact it was slightly lowered on the list even though i specified them!!!!

Anyway, i added some items to the list before renewing yesterday...
GReddy Profec II boost controller,
t25/t3 turbo (a massive one for my car),
Group "A" carb,
lowered (as it was missed out last time),
2.5inch straight through side exit exhaust,
Double capacity intercooler,
and a couple of other bits...
(This all can add soooo much to the power...)

They only charged me £60 more for all of that!!!!!!

I was very :) indeed!

But only if it's updated on their records!!!!

620 fully comp, me 24, g/f 22. 4 years ncb, 3 points. All the usual mods.

IMPORTANT UPDATE

I had the accident on the 20th, got a quote from a garage BUT work cant be started ubtil an expert comes and looks at the car.

Phoned adrian flux today to see when the guy was coming and they told me THAT THE PAPERWORK IS STILL INCORRECT BETWEEN THE TWO COMPANIES and that no one will be attending until that is sorted out!!!!!!
