That link if for the front pads and not the rear brake shoes. I recently replaced the rear brakes on my 1.2 and they were a right pig. NOTHING in the Haynes manual related to the actual brakes on the 1.2, niether piccys nor description.
I expect you found out how to remove the drums. Wind in some extraction bolts and hit the drum with soft hammer.
Make a note of how the springs attach or take a piccy before you atart
Haynes says put the shoe retaining clips on first. I'd say only put these on LAST. You need the room to attach the shoe springs.
Ok from what I remember, you attach the handbrake cable first while the new shoes are still in your hand. You have to slide the spring way up to get the room to be able to swing in and attach the cable end to the shoe attahment point. You could do with 3 hands just for this.

Then you lever in the two shoes and attach the bottom spring first. Then attach the smaller top spring then finally the weaker top long spring. You'll need some long nose pliers or mole wrench to grip the springs tight enough to be able to pull them into place.
Finally fix in the shoe retaining spring clips
Adjust the self adjusting ratchet to get it down to minimum (lever the spring and slide round the ratchet).
Then replace the drums
Finally hit the brakes a few times to move self adjusters
