My wife has taken the car out & i can't get to it to check, but she has told me this light has come on & will not go out. What is this a warning of 7 how do i get rid of it.

its the little yellow light of an engine that is above the hand brake warning light & the battery light. These normaly light up when you start the engine & all go out together but the engine light is staying on, the car is running normaly. any ideas?

Not sure if I can help!!! I have a Bravo and I can't find anything in the handbook which relates to the, however my bloke has a Disco and the same light on that means there is an engine fault and that it should be taken to a dealer asap

Euro Emissions

Actually read/saw an article on this recently. It is a fault light to indicate that emissions may be falling below a set standard. There are various sensors in the engine that can detect the performance of certain components - the dealer should be able to identify wich one through an error code in the ECU.
