hey i'm trying to find out if anyone has had a similar problem,
air bag light came on and horn went off, someone reckoned it was a broken connection.
has anyone got idea of where is should start and where the major connections i should check are.
i've got a multimeter for checking the connections but i dont want to rip my whole dashboard out to be honest.
if anyone can help i'd be much appreciative

got a haynes manual? It will most likely be the slip ring between the steering wheel and column.

got a haynes manual, i'll have to look that one up. so whats the easiest thing to do then?

If you take the steering wheel off, make sure you disconnect the battery and take out the fuse/relay at least 30 mins prior to taking the steering wheel off, this should then prevent the airbag light staying on (unless its too late, in which case the airbag light will stay on and have to be turned off either by AlfaNige or Fiat)

cheers for that, i'll have to check into that tomorrow.

If the connection is shot there is no way you'd get the light to go off without taking the bulb out.
