If I want to rewire my Marea Weekend 2.0 so that the cigar lighter socket stays powered with the engine off (for camping lights and charging mobile phones while camping etc.)- can anyone suggest an easy way to do it in the fusebox or do I have to run a new cable and fuse right back to the battery?

Just run a cable to the stero as this has a permanent live then connect it in with scotch block it works fine.

I'm not sure what colour that wire is but it might be the red one (the Bravo guide site isn't working at the moment for me to find out).

Thanks- what sort of current can I run off that, though. Its a 30A fuse on the socket at the moment!

Re: Re: Re: Re: Wiring to Cigar Lighter Socket

I have just checked the bravo guide and it IS the red wire. As for your next question the radio is fused at 10amps so a mobile charger, cigar lighter or camping light will be ok. If you want 30amps it will probably be best to run it back to the battery. Hope this helps. Just a quick one, if you do need that much current with the engine off your battery won't last that long.
