Re: AutoItalia Italian Car Day 2019 @ Stanford Hall

Dear all.

Much to our regret, Auto Italia have had to make the difficult decision to cancel our Italian Car Day at Stanford Hall event on Sunday September 29th.

The cancellation is due to the inclement weather we have experienced this week and the further rainfall expected over the next few days and indeed on the day itself.

We greatly appreciate the enthusiasm and interest that everyone has shown towards our event. We were really looking forward to our return to Stanford Hall. We wanted to give everyone a great Italian Car Day, but sadly cannot compromise the condition of the grounds and risk potential damage to attendee’s vehicles.

Anyone who has booked on site camping will receive full refunds, please accept our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Yep ditto. I was looking forward to the revival of this show as it used to be a real crowd puller attracting people from all over due to its central location. Never mind let's hope it's on for next year

...oh dear. Gutted.

Disappointed too but my recently purchased Barchetta has done almost no miles for the past decade and I was thinking about pulling out rather than risk breaking down in the pouring rain on the M1. Hopefully see you all at a sunny event in the spring.
