On da way 2 a new mission
Saturday the 25th of April 2009 is a provisional date, but it is rather unlikely to change.

The event is as much a track day as it is a club display.

Although it is a long way away, we are planning ahead because we have established a very good relation with the organisers and have the opportunity to choose the location of our club stand and can arrange track group sessions.

Performance 206 is hosting a club display and have invited C2 Sports Club to join us and will split the stand in three areas with one massive gazebo and possible more depending on interest.

Bookings for track time we willo take from now on and everyone wanting to go on the track needs to book as early as possible to be able to take part in the group sessions. Bookings will be accepted when a deposit of £ 10.00 is forwarded.

This who to pay and how much

[email protected]

£10 entry +pp*

£22 per track session +pp*

*plus paypal fees. click on union flag in link to work them out* http://www.rolbe.com/paypal.htm

We will have a bbq available too.

The venue address is:

Castle Combe Circuit
Castle Combe
Chippenham
Wiltshire
SN14 7EY

Please put yourself in the attendee list and also in the track time list and put behind your name in the tracktime list how many sessions you wish to take.

Just clearifying a few things:

Maria from CC was briefed by her bosses on the fees. Otiginally it was decided that it was handled like in previous years. Matters have changed a few times.

The free entry was scrapped at short notice. To get into the compound it isnecessaryto obtain a ticket. The sessions are working out to be 22 pounds and the ticket 10 pounds.

If you want to buy your own slot they charge now 35 pounds.

Sorry for the confusion, but this was neither my fault nor Maria's from Castle Combe.

A number of members who have put themselves on the list have not paid yet. Could everybody who is on the list either pay up or let us know that they do not wish to get on the track.

I have spoken again to the organiser today and we will get for every 28 passes one session, where we have no idiots with us on the track.

I will by bginning of October collect the deposits and let everyone know what the track times are.

i assume your chatting to Maria?

knowing them guys you will find we wont know anything until about april 1st :D

Maria is one of the people I communicate with. So far she had fulfilled the promises with the space we asked for in the past venues and always passed the requests her superiors.

Anyway, people make up your mind. The minute Performance 206 has already taken a lot more track time than the mighty Fiat forum.

Re: Castle Combe Action Day - 18th of April 2009

hehe, if we go on a session with jusr fiats are there any objections to me being at the front?

saves overtaking :D

if we want to get the sessions selling should we pop over to FCCUK and invite them? they usually all go on track (y)

Re: Castle Combe Action Day - 18th of April 2009

usually £15 for the earlybird session and £20 if booking in advance, otherwise its about £45 on the day.

i'd stay away from strawford building on the day, i think i spent £100 on track time :(

Re: Castle Combe Action Day - 18th of April 2009

Ah I think I missed the point in this thread previously..

Is the intention to get a session completely to oursleves and the other forums?

If yes i'll deffo be up for that
