Does anyone know of it’s possible to remap (chip) the Euro 6 engine?

Thanks

Without judging about gadtuning (I really do not know them, therefore I can and will not), in general you should be warned for 'experts' that deal with each and every type of vehicle you can bring in, and guarantee the highest thinkable gains.

Personally for chiptuning of Alfas, Jeeps, Ducatos (and info about chiptuning of some older Fiats & Lancias) I revert to info from squadra tuning from Holland.
There you can also find that there are hardware differences between euro 6b and 6d versions and different turbo's on different models, even different piston and ceankshafts for 180hp version.

Starting point therefore is: which version do you have?

(So, in short, the answer to your question is: yes it is possible, some versions with more result than others)

Thank you all for your quick replies.
As to the version of euro 6 I have...I am not sure!
The vehicle was registered in August 2019 the V5 states as a euro 6Y ? The engine code is F1AGL411D and is a 2.3 Multijet II 130ps.

I hope this helps...

Thanks.

Thanks Rcl,

At least I know what it is...and what to look for!

Cheers

The 130ps has a gearbox (and clutch) working at the top of the design torque range. Any remap is likely to over stress these parts. ( the torque figures shown in the link exceed the box design torque limit).
