Hiya,
For ones sins, and I apologise, I’m picking up my 5th new Ducato this week,
Fitting a Hope T-Bar to the rear, which will cause the reverse sensors to think I’m hitting a wall once reverse engaged,

Pretty sure I read either on MultiECUscan or here, that if you remove (disconnect) the sensor ecu, and run a proxy alignment, that will remove the sensors from memory and no warning triangle on dash,

I’m assuming the ECU will be located in a rear corner, or and is the audible “speaker”

Can anyone confirm the location please?

If a factory fitted reversing sensors multi ECUscan should be able to connect to it and they normally have a towbar sensors mode you you can set it to ignore the towbar and the sensors should still work when driving without a trailer

Doesn’t work mate, only cuts middle two,

I’ll have to dig out my MultiECUscan details out and ask on the forum there
Pretty sure it was on the forum, the guy who’s created MES that told us how to do it, (we just covered the warning light with tape lol) as the sensors were disconnected where they join the main harness they only way to stop the warning sound constant on a 2012 Ducato, (2016 Eu6 we couldn’t fit as the initial run of builds they forgot the mounting holes for tow bars, so never fitted the T-Bar

Found the ECU inside the o/s/r corner

Jeez, this is worrying. I've a 2016 Euro 6 and was about to order a towbar.
Could you possibly advise where these holes are so I could check before I order?
Would it be viable to drill them if required?

The rear square hole was the missing hole on the first run of L4’s for MY year 2017 (first of euro6’s in mid to late 2016)

This image is my new one with the hole, (a captive nut slots up in the square hole)
