hi can anyone help me the tank was run dry i put about 30 litres in it the gauge didnt move so i thought i would fill it up float might of stuck the gauge went straight to the top then straight back down again ive been driving around for the last few months with the gauge on empty and flashing i bought a new pump and float but its still the same.

does anyone have a wiring diagram is there a fuse or relay or some sort of control box that i could change.

Usually If you disconnect the battery for a while and reconnect it resets the body computer, give it a try

I was going to ask about this procedure, Sam.. the BSI reset.. as a Fiat tech.. isn't there a set procedure to follow ... ye olde Youtube has a few clips for Pug and Citty's but none for Fiat ... and THEY suggest.. bonnet open doors closed.. engine off.. wait 3mins (system shutdown).. disconnect.. wait 15/20 secs.. reconnect.. wait 20secs to reinitialise.. sidelights on, then keys in and ignition on before start (one actually says with ign on to press the lock button on the fob for 10secs).. would this be the Fiat procedure too, do you know?
