Hi, newbie here. Our Doblo 1.3i van that I converted to a micro camper for my missus 2 years ago started playing up around 6 months ago. Loss of power, black smoke from exhaust. A garage replaced the EGR valve, and it was better for a few days. Then is started playing up again, loss of power, black smoke. Went back to garage they did a few more minor things and we replaced the air filter. No joy. We have now gone to another garage who say they can't find out what is wrong with it but "think" it "might be" the Turbo. Or the injection. Or something else undefined. Does this ring bells with anyone. A sinking feeling tells me it's days are numbered, but it only has 80k on the clock and the conversion, though I say it myself, is a beauty.

We are near Liskeard. It's been to two garages - the first one in Bedworth kept trying different things, then we came back to Cornwall and the current garage have had it for 2 weeks trying to find out what the problem is! Is this whole turbo / black smoke / loss of energy thing particularly hard to diagnose in Doblos for some reason? I've had Peugots and Citroens (I know - same van ) that both had similar probs but always comparatively easy to fix...
