Hello all, Last week while driving my 2013 Doblo the brake pedal completely collapsed to the floor with no braking at all. This results in a rather frightening crash. Upon inspection there are bits of broken green plastic and a wire clip on the floor beneath the pedal.

Has anyone else experienced or heard about a similar failure of the brake pedal?

Have you owned the vehicle all the time?
I wonder if somebody has had a crash before as cars often ha e a section designed to. Brake in a crash to minimise force going into the driver feet and this could have been weaked previously?

No I bought the car in 2017 and am not aware of any previous crashes.

The car is going to be assessed at a garage so maybe they will be able to investigate this.
