Hi. Just wondering if anyone can help. I've just had a tow bar and alko tow ball fitted to my Doblo ('66 reg) and it causes the parking sensors to constantly bleep when in reverse as the sensors are picking up the tow ball. I have contacted my local Fiat dealer to see if it is possible to have the sensors adjusted so they don't pick up the tow ball. They have advised that they would have to link my van to a control box to see whether it's possible for an adjustment to be made or not. Either way it will cost me £53. So if its not possible, I shall by £53 worse off for nothing.

I was wondering if anyone else has had their parking sensors adjusted by a Fiat dealership? Thanks.

Hi
The cheapest way is to disconnect the two near the tow ball
I retro fitted mine and made sure the sensors were away from the tow ball
On my other van I made a relay to cut off the sensors when I had a trailer on

It is possible on some cars and configs to adjust the parking sensor system using multiecuscan I know the option is there on my Tipo to configure it for a townbar
