My question is, I have a Doblo Maxi Cargo van with reversing sensors, I now have a towbar but it is being picked up by the sensors every time I use reverse, is it possible to disconnect the two centre sensors to save my ears?

It depends on the unit used. Some sensors, when disconnected, break the entire thing, while others each sensor is independent.

Either way...

About 10 or 12cm behind the sensor there should be a connector to allow you to disconnect them.

OR

Follow the sensor wire to the control unit, disconnect them from there.
