went to start my doblo the other day and when key is inserted it turns over but does not start,there is a amber warning light on dash with a picture of a car and padlock, Fiat Doblo Mk2 Vehicle Protection System warning light.

had a locksmith come to the car to check the keys are ok,he plugged a computer in to the dash and found me the emergency start up code.
car wont start when you try the emergency procedure.

took car to garage were i been going for last 25 years they say it could be the ECU,sent that off to be tested and it came back ok.

what else is there to check could it be the fiat key reader aerial transponder immobilser ring

car has done 120 thousand miles its a 07 plate.

thanks for the reply,its such a pain when a car wont start and you put your trust in other people to fix your car,the ecu came back from been tested and the cover looked like it had been removed with a hammer and screwdriver and all the screws holding the cover on were loose.

its been a great car had it 7 years now and would still go and buy another one,going to get the immobiliser tested now

Ok..so keys are ok.

I had a relay act.up before.

Would only deactivate immob. Once air temp was warm.

I would go through earth points.etc.

Do you have 2 x keys?
