hi i am new on here i am having problems with electrics on my 07 doblo
it started with the doors saying the rear sliding doors were open when they were shut that stoped the central locking from working would not stay locked
i tried the usual things but did not fix the multecuscan said near side door so switch the door contacts did not work
then looked at the tow bar wiring because that was not working and when i went back and turned the car on the door fault had gone only to now have problems with the side lights ,fog lights ,rear wiper ,number plate lights and dash back lights not working. the side lights work when set to park. all fuses are good and the bulbs and wiper motor so i am thinking the ecu in the passenger foot well might be the problem any advice would be most welcome
regards peter

i Have fixed these problems by taking out the passenger fuse box and spraying all the plugs and sockets and pulled all the fuses and relays
when replaced all the problems have gone

Regarding your rear sliding door light.

All it is, is that the door buttons for the lights are not going in far enough.
When i had this problem all i did was to put a tiny piece of sticky back metal or plastic on to the end of the button to increase it's length by a fraction.
problem solved.

the buttons wear after time and become a fraction shorter so showing the rear doors open.

Ed.

Sorry, can't help you with the other electrics.

I did try what you said but in my case it did not work
it was poor contacts on the ecu that was causing my problems
all working now thanks
