Technical 205 60 16 tyres

Hi Fiat Folks I have seen some Winter tyres I would like to put on my Fiat doblo 1.6 multijet 2013...Its currently on standard 195 60 16 and the tyres I have seen are 205 60 16 will these fit with out catching or causing any problems does anyone no thanks monty.

Monty, if you look in the archive a few folks are running wider tyres at 16 inch for the current Doblo. However the offset for the wheels is the key thing. The tight spot is the rear wheels as they run very close to the dampers, so that is why I purchased another set of Fiat Doblo option Alloys for winter 195/60 x 16 tyres which fitted perfectly. It is a pity you are so far away from me as I will be selling the alloys with some excellent Goodyear winters in the next 2-3 weeks as I am changing my car.

Don't go wider for winter tyres. They'll work best as standard width, or perhaps a little narrower, but not wider. Standard size is best.
