Hello all,
Im in the process of upgrading my Scudo (200K, 10 years old and getting glitchy, needs an owner with skills), and after a bit of looking around a Doblo MPV is looking like the winner. Got my eye on a 2010 one for sale up the road.

I cant work out if its possible to completely remove the rear seats? Obviously they fold right up, but in an ideal universe I want to be able to remove them altogether. Can they be easily unbolted?

If it comes to it, Id get them chopped out....but itd be brilliant if theres a simpler way. Any clues?

Pretty sure (99.99%) they unbolt and right come out, but I think there is a foot-well behind the front seats that isn't there with a van version. It's not very deep and you could put a piece of ply over it to give you a flat surface. From what I can make out, the van versions simply have a piece of sheet steel spot-welded over the footwell to give a flat load-bay.
I assume this one you're looking at has side windows in the sliding door?
If not, it might be worth seeing if it's a "bodge" fitment someone has done - a) to see how they come out, and b) to knock the price down. ;)

If the are genuine seats, you'll probably find a buyer pretty quickly in the Ads section.

Yep, there is a footwell in the Doblo MPV but like you say its shallow and would be easy to cover over.
Its odd really, I want a doblo van with windows and with low mileage...but for the same money I get a much better spec MPV with less miles and seats Ill remove!

The "combi" type are everywhere over here. I had trouble getting a van without windows - which is what I wanted. Windows are over-rated ;)

If it is the latest model Doblo, then yes the seats are easy to remove. I have taken mine out a couple of times and it is only 5 or 6 bolts. The larger of the split rear seats is very heavy so you likely need an extra pair of hands

Hi, (I have just removed the seats from my 2008 mpv ready for camper conversion. It's dead easy. four bolts in total located on the lower front of the seat.
